Chip Bailey is passionate about music, working with and enabling anyone regardless of experience, ability, age, gender, race or religion to participate in making music.

Chip has over 20 years experience facilitating music sessions for the public and private sector and is known for hilarious and uplifting interactive workshops.

As a facilitator he brings boundless energy, humour and experience, releasing, empowering, enabling and guiding people.

Playing drums together is an easily accessible avenue for self-expression. It is a place where people with a whole range of musical experience can get together and share the joy of playing percussive music together. A drum circle brings people together to explore and share the power of rhythm.

Throughout these sessions, as a facilitator Chip will enable participants to express themselves through playing hand drums and percussion instruments. It is  structured to allow team members to have a voice, experience co-operative accomplishments and have fun. It is a percussion orchestra with no written music to follow. Music is created on the spur of the moment.

Drumming affects us physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually and can be profoundly up lifting.  Rhythm is a universal language and is a language that can unite the diverse elements of humanity.

Chip's interactive workshops are a unique experience which uses group drumming to release human potential through a rhythm-based event. It is a hands on experience.

Your musical ability and your power of communication spoke to us both hilariously and profoundly" – NIGEL UDEN, SOUTHERN SYNOD SUMMER SCHOOL

If there was an “interactive highlight” to last year’s festival it had to be the Chip Bailey workshop. Absolutely, any age and any ability can take part in this giant percussive ensemble which is rather noisy and totally fun. Chip Bailey has the ability to bring rhythm out of the apparent chaos of 40 – 50 people using everything and anything as an instrument" – FESTIVAL, GUILDFORD

Chip trained with Access to Music on the Music Facilitator Programme and with Trinity College London as an Arts Award trainer. He holds a full driving license, full DBS clearance and has Public Liability Insurance through Sound Sense.
